About Us

Originally formed in 1979 by John Ruck, JRC traded as John Ruck Construction until the 1st July 2003 when, due to continued expansion, we moved to our new purpose built premises at Longmead, Leominster and began trading as JRC. A newly formed limited company, yet still based on the same principals of quality and service that brought John Ruck Construction the levels of success that it has enjoyed over the years.

We supply and erect all types of structural steelwork, for an industrial building or commercial customers, designed and fabricated to meet BS5950 and BS5502. We can undertake contracts of up to 300 tonnes and welcome any size of enquiry from within this range, offering a fast and competitive service.

Along with the supply of new steel framed structures we can also supply and install cladding systems from single skin through to built-up systems and composite panelling to meet the current Part L2 Building Regulation requirements. Refurbishment work is also undertaken this includes the dismantling of existing steel on site.

Additional to steelwork and cladding we also offer a complete package deal to incorporate any builders works such as bases, floor slabs, walling, office accommodation and drainage. This is provided through Woonton Building Contractors Ltd who also operate from the Longmead site.
